When Everything Feels Stupid (And Why That’s Actually Right)
When Everything Feels Stupid (And Why That’s Actually Right)

Okay, so something freakin weird is happening.
Time is speeding up. I keep losing track of what month it is, what season we’re in. I’ll look at the calendar and go “wait, it’s APRIL?” like I just woke up from a coma.
And holidays? They feel… hollow. Like I’m going through the motions of something that used to mean more but now just feels empty.
Christmas came and went and I was like “…okay?”
No magic. No excitement. Just another day with some decorations.
And I’m hearing this EVERYWHERE, not just me:
Everything that used to feel important doesn’t hit the same way anymore.
Marriage. Family. Traditional relationships. Career ladder climbing. Keeping up appearances. All of it just feels… meh.
Even movies are changing. Different stories. Different values. Less of the old “you need this to complete you” narrative.
And for a while, I thought something was wrong with me. Like maybe I’m just disconnected. Or losing my spark.
But then I realized what’s actually happening:
We’re not broken. We’re shifting.
The Old World Isn’t Hitting Anymore
What’s falling away isn’t random.
It’s the old identity layer. The scripts we were handed about what matters, what success looks like, what a “good life” is supposed to feel like.
And now it doesn’t land anymore.
Because something in us is no longer consenting to it.
The In-Between Space
We’re in a strange middle place.
The old world is fading, but the new one isn’t fully formed yet.
And the mind hates this stage because it wants certainty. Structure. Familiar meaning.
But what feels like emptiness is actually space.
Space where the old programming stops running.
What This Really Means
This isn’t depression for everyone.
This isn’t “losing interest in life.”
This is identity shedding.
You’re outgrowing a version of reality that no longer fits.
And when that happens, everything that used to feel meaningful can temporarily feel flat.
Not because you’re lost.
Because you’re between versions of yourself.
What You’re Being Asked to Do Now
Stop forcing connection to things that don’t resonate anymore.
Stop pretending excitement where there isn’t any.
Start paying attention to what actually feels real now.
Not what used to. Not what should.
What does now feel like for you?
Because this is the part where you stop living inside inherited meaning… and start building your own.
The Truth
We’re rebuilding something.
Not going back. Not fixing the old system.
Rewriting.
And this time, it has to be honest.
So if everything feels a little empty, a little weird, a little “what is even happening anymore”…
You’re not behind.
You’re in the shift.
