I wrote a new song.

It came out today.

And it’s not just a song.

It’s a SCREAM.

A GUT-WRENCHING, SOUL-SHATTERING SCREAM.

The kind of scream that’s been trapped in my body for DECADES. The kind of scream that’s made up of every ounce of rage, grief, and pain I’ve ever swallowed.

Because here’s the thing…

I’ve been through HELL.

And I’m not talking about some abstract, metaphorical hell.

I’m talking about the REAL hell.

The hell of SEXUAL ABUSE.

Of PHYSICAL ABUSE.

Of HUMILIATION.

NEGLECT.

And RELIGIOUS ABUSE.

I’m talking about the hell of being BETRAYED by the women who were supposed to be my SISTERS.

I’m talking about the hell of being a WOMAN in a world that wants me SILENT, SMALL, and SUBSERVIENT.

And I’m not alone.

So many of you have been through your own versions of hell.

Your own betrayals.

Your own abuse.

And what do we do with all that RAGE?

All that GRIEF?

All that PAIN?

We stuff it down.

We swallow it.

We try to pretend it’s not there.

But it IS there.

It’s stored in our BODIES.

In our WOMBS.

In the very MARROW of our bones.

And it’s making us SICK.

It’s giving us autoimmune diseases.

It’s ROTTING us from the inside out.

Because RAGE is not meant to be CONTAINED.

It’s meant to be EXPELLED.

And that’s what this song is.

It’s an EXPULSION.

A PURGE.

A primal, guttural RELEASE.

It’s me saying:

I AM DONE HOLDING THIS IN.

I am done being NICE.

I am done being POLITE.

I am letting this RAGE MOVE THROUGH ME.

I am letting it BURN ME CLEAN.

Because on the other side of that rage?

Is FREEDOM.

SOVEREIGNTY.

POWER.

And I want that for YOU.

I want you to SCREAM with me.

To RAGE with me.

To let it ALL OUT.

Dance like a BANSHEE.

Cry like a WOLF.

HOWL at the fucking MOON.

Pull your energy BACK to you.

From EVERYONE.

Even your kids.

This is not about abandoning them.

It’s about RECLAIMING YOURSELF.

Because a woman who is FULL of herself?

Who is SOVEREIGN in her power?

Is a woman who can give from a place of WHOLENESS.

Not LACK.

So this is my invitation.

My RALLYING CRY.

To every woman who has RAGE stored in her body.

Who has GRIEF clawing at her throat.

Who has LOVE that has been TWISTED and ABUSED and MISUSED.

RELEASE IT.

MOVE IT.

SHAKE IT THE FUCK OUT.

Scream.

Cry.

Spit.

RAGE.

And then?

RISE.

As the QUEEN you are.

The GODDESS you ALWAYS were.

This is YOUR time.

YOUR reign.

YOUR moment to be FULLY, UNAPOLOGETICALLY YOURSELF.

So get your ass up.

Move your hips.

Open your lips.

Feel the LOVE in your heart.

And let the SCREAM RIP THROUGH YOU.

Let it CLEANSE you.

CLAIM you.

RE-MAKE you.

Into the woman you were BORN TO BE.

The woman you were before the world tried to BREAK YOU.

Whole.

Holy.

POWERFUL beyond measure.

This is MY scream.

MY song.

MY fury made ART.

And it’s YOURS now too.

So RAGE with me, sisters.

It’s time we alchemize this pain into POWER.

It’s time we RISE.

Together.

Raw.

Real.

RELENTLESS.

Just like our love.

Just like our TRUTH.
