The Truth About the Siren: Why We Blame Women for Men’s Desire
The Truth About the Siren: Why We Blame Women for Men’s Desire

I just released a new song today.
It’s called “Siren.”
And it’s not just a song.
It’s a STORY.
An ARCHETYPE.
A TRUTH that we’ve been running from for centuries.
The story of the Siren is as old as time.
A beautiful woman sings on the rocks, and men, drawn by her voice, crash their ships and drown.
And in every telling, SHE is the villain.
The temptress.
The monster.
But let’s look closer.
The Siren doesn’t chase.
She waits.
She simply IS—in her power, in her truth.
It’s the MEN who chase her.
The MEN who can’t control their desire.
The MEN who blame HER for their own hunger.
Sound familiar?
How many times have we heard “she was asking for it” when a woman is assaulted?
How many times have we seen a powerful woman—a woman in touch with her sexuality, her magnetism—called a “slut” or a “temptress”?
How many times have we watched men project their own lack of control onto the women they desire?
The truth is:
The Siren isn’t a monster.
She’s a MIRROR.
She reflects back to men the depths of their own hunger.
The parts of themselves they’re afraid to face.
And rather than take responsibility, rather than CONTROL themselves, they blame HER.
They call her dangerous.
They call her deadly.
They build myths around her hips, her lips, her kiss.
All to avoid the truth:
THEY are the ones who can’t handle her power.
The Siren doesn’t kill.
She CLARIFIES.
She strips away the bullshit and shows men the truth of their own desires.
She doesn’t lure.
She REMINDS.
Reminds men of the wildness they’ve tried to tame, the passion they’ve tried to repress.
She doesn’t destroy.
She IGNITES.
Ignites the fire men are so afraid will consume them.
And they hate her for it.
They fear her for it.
They blame her for it.
Because it’s easier than facing themselves.
But here’s the thing:
The Siren isn’t just a myth.
She’s IN all of us.
She’s the part of EVERY woman that is magnetic, powerful, and in touch with her desire.
And she’s DANGEROUS to a system that wants women silent, small, controllable.
She’s dangerous to a world that teaches men they’re entitled to women’s bodies but can’t handle women’s SOULS.
So this song?
This song is a RECLAMATION.
It’s a reclamation of the Siren’s power.
Of EVERY woman’s power.
It’s a reminder that we are not monsters for being desirable.
We are not villains for igniting men’s hunger.
We are not to BLAME for men’s lack of control.
We are SIRENS.
Gold throats.
Black tides.
Sacred laws.
And our voices?
Our voices are Heaven’s gates.
If a lover will allow himself to fall into the Siren’s song, he’ll actually find freedom.
He will find home.
And it’s time we stopped apologizing for being what we are…
The Siren is inevitable.
