Screw Work, Let’s Have Fun!

Alright, listen up, because I’m about to drop some TRUTH BOMBS about fun.

First of all, can we talk about how stupid it is that we’ve been taught to prioritize work over fun? Like, who the hell decided that was a good idea?

Oh right, the patriarchy.

They’ve been feeding us this crap idea that we have to EARN our fun by working ourselves to the bone. That fun is some kind of reward for being a good little worker bee.

Well, I call BULLSHIT.

Fun isn’t a reward.

It’s a NECESSITY.

It’s the avenue for manifesting what you want. It’s how you get into the flow of receiving all the delicious things life has to offer.

But instead, we’ve been stuck in this cycle of enslavement. Enslaved to our jobs, to our responsibilities, to this idea that we have to PROVE ourselves before we can enjoy life.

And you know what?

That’s a one-way ticket to Miserableville.

Population: too fucking many.

Leaning in conspiratorially…

But here’s the secret they don’t want you to know:

FUN IS YOUR BIRTHRIGHT.

You don’t have to earn it.

You don’t have to prove yourself worthy of it.

You just have to CLAIM it.

So How Do You Do That?

First, you gotta get clear on what fun actually MEANS to you.

Not what your friends are doing. Not what Instagram tells you is cool.

What makes YOU come alive?

Is it dancing naked in your living room?

Is it painting a mural on your bedroom wall?

Is it having mind-blowing sex with your partner (or yourself, no judgment here)?

Whatever it is, THAT’S your definition of fun.

And it’s time to make it a non-negotiable PRIORITY in your life.

And can we talk about how AWKWARD it is when people ask, “Are you doing anything fun this weekend?”

Like, what the hell am I supposed to say to that?

“Oh, you know, just the usual existential dread and scrolling through TikTok until my eyes bleed.”

NO.

Forget about it.

From now on, when someone asks you that, I want you to look them dead in the eye and say:

“Hell yes I’m doing something fun. I’m prioritizing my joy and manifesting my dreams. What about you?”

Watch how fast they squirm.

Watch how uncomfortable they get.

Because they’ve bought into the lie that fun is frivolous.

But you?

You know the truth.

Fun is FREEDOM.

Fun is FLOW.

Fun is how you tap into your power and create the life you want.

So go have some fun.

And don’t you dare apologize for it.

Your joy is the answer.
