Romance Is Not A Lover

ROMANCE IS NOT A LOVER

A woman surrounded by warm candlelight, flowers, books, and cozy textures, embodying a romantic and fully alive way of living rooted in beauty, pleasure, and self-connection.

I’m about to tell you one of the biggest lies we’ve ever been sold. Romance is not a lover.

Romance is not a husband, a wife, a girlfriend, a boyfriend.

Romance is not someone arriving in your life and finally making you feel sexy. Yes it is an inside job.

Romance is a way of being alive. And most people have forgotten how.

They think they need more chemistry. More attention.

More butterflies. More validation. More followers. More lovers. Yada yada yada.

What they actually need is aliveness.

I’ve lived romantically for as long as I can remember.

As a little girl I read a book by Jane Seymour called Living a Romantic Life. I don’t remember every word, but I remember the feeling… mmmmm.

Life is supposed to feel wonderful. We’re here to taste it. Touch it. Feel it. Participate in it. So… that’s what I built.

My home isn’t minimalist.

My home is Hygge. It’s comfort, warmth, beauty. It’s sensual.

When people walk through my door, they exhale.

The lighting is intentional. The textures are perfectly placed. The food is next level and the conversations are meant to open hearts.

Everything says:

Stay awhile.

I grow herbs because food should taste alive. I layer flavors because one note is boring. I want sweetness and heat and acid and salty richness all arriving at once. I want to taste my life.

I host dinner parties. I gather people around tables. I laugh loudly. I cry openly. I ask big questions.

I have deep conversations with people I love. I make cocktails for my friends. I pour beauty into ordinary moments and I wear flowered panties after I smear rose oil over my yoni.

I sleep with my skin exposed because I love the feeling of blankets against my flesh.

And yes I touch my own skin. God, I love the softness of my body. I love the curve of my hips. I love the weight of my breasts. I love the feeling of being alive inside my wildness.

Jack watches and comments on how I run my hands across my skin while I’m thinking, reading, dreaming lying in bed, because he bewitched by it. My body is my home.

I’m also a woman who colors her hair. I wear self-tanner. I get Botox, filler and lashes. I like primping in the mirror because I like the woman looking back. I created her.

I think one of the saddest things happening in the world right now is how many people have outsourced their relationship with themselves.

They outsource their worth.

Their beauty.

Their desirability and joy.

They have outsourced their goddamn romance.

Then they wait for someone else to bring it back.

A lover cannot give you a relationship with yourself.

A lover can join it, enhance it and even celebrate it. But they cannot create it.

That’s your job.

The science of romantic love is fascinating…

Dopamine.

Oxytocin.

Novelty.

Attraction.

Anticipation.

The chemistry is real.

But underneath all of that is something deeper.

Consciousness.

Attention.

Participation.

Aliveness.

I’ve been married for most of my adult life. First for twenty-one years. Now nearly twenty years with Jack.

The greatest romantic lesson I’ve learned has nothing to do with feeling the tingle between my legs. It’s about becoming a woman who lives in love. Not just with a lover, with everything!

I’m a psychic medium, healer and a teacher. I guess you could call me wild Mystic. Ha!

I spend my days talking about things most people cannot see to student and clients, writing taboo posts, writing and producing sentual songs that wake, and filming videos channeling source.

And what I’ve discovered is that the most magical things are rarely grand. They’re usually found in ordinary moments that receive extraordinary attention.

A cup of tea.

Fresh flowers.

A dinner table.

A song.

A kiss.

A blanket.

A body.

A sunset.

A conversation.

A synchronicity.

An ORGASM. Mmmmmm don’t forget about the orgasms for God sake. My Fav! 🤭

Romance isn’t something you wait for, it is something you practice. It’s deciding that beauty matters. It’s deciding that pleasure matters.

It’s deciding that your life deserves your full participation. It’s refusing to sleepwalk through your existence. My beloved, it’s a fucking decision.

The most magnetic people I’ve ever met weren’t waiting to be chosen. They were already in a passionate love affair with life. They chose themselves.

That’s why they glow and why people gather around them.

That’s why they’re fucking unforgettable.

So baby, build a life that turns you on. Everything changes after that.

And yes, this picture is AI so don’t get your panties in a dither. I created a visual expression of how I live my life, because right now I’m laying in bed in my panties, writing this post and that picture wouldn’t be appropriate would it? Bahahaha! Enjoy!
