Queening Your Self-Care: How I Nourish My Body, Mind & Spirit
By Mama Tiff
Hello, Queen.
Tuesdays are sacred. Why? Because they are my official self-care days. Every week, without fail, I take this day off for appointments, rituals, and anything that makes me feel like the badass queen I am. Let me tell you—if you’re skipping self-care, you’re basically running on empty. And trust me, it shows.
Here’s what my Tuesday looks like:
1. Lash Therapy (Yes, It Counts as Self-Care)
First stop: my lash appointment. My lash lady? One of my closest friends and the reason I leave feeling like a million bucks. Simple? Yes. Life-changing? Absolutely. A fresh set of lashes isn’t just beauty—it’s a boost of confidence that makes you feel unstoppable.
2. Myofascial Release (The Pain That Heals)
Next, we get real. I do myofascial release therapy. Third session in, and yes, it’s painful. But here’s the thing—the body stores trauma, even after the mind has let it go. I’ve lived with chronic pain since childhood, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue… the works. My mind was already trained; now I’m freeing my body. My fascia is becoming supple again, my chronic pain is down, and I’m actually moving easier. That kind of transformation is messy, uncomfortable, and worth every wince.
3. Fruity Hydration (Because Queen Energy Needs Fuel)
Finally, I sip on my fruit-infused water. It’s simple, beautiful, and nourishing—a reminder that self-care doesn’t need to be complicated. Even little rituals add up to big results.
The Magic? Consistency.
Self-care isn’t one-off. It’s the small things you do every week, every day, that actually make you feel alive. Treat your body, train your mind, and feed your spirit—it all matters.
Queen Check-In:
What’s your self-care routine? How do you keep your body moving, your mind sharp, and your soul aligned? I want to know. Your rituals might just inspire someone else to reclaim their queen energy too.
